Utah ADU Builder
Backyard casita builder in Utah
A backyard casita builder prices a detached accessory dwelling unit: foundation, utilities, shell, kitchen, and bath. Utah ADU Builder does not sign that construction contract. We check the property and, with your consent, introduce independent design and construction partners.
Last reviewed 2026-09-22. Planning guidance, not a permit or a construction contract.
What to ask a casita builder
Ask who pulls the permit, who owns the drawings, what utility work is in the number, and what happens if the city requires a different setback. A planning band of $95,000–$250,000 or more is a starting conversation for a new detached casita, not a bid.
City approval and an HOA approval are separate. A builder can design a unit the city would allow and the CC&Rs still prohibit.
Where to start on your lot
Confirm the city, the lot size, and whether you want a detached casita or an internal suite. Qualifying lots of about 11,000 sq ft follow the statewide detached floor beginning October 1, 2026. Then request a review and decide whether you want a partner introduction.
